Bintan

August 25

Today we arrived at Bintan! Bintan is an island in Indonesia near Singapore.  we took a short boat ride and then a quick drive to get to the resort. when we got there we were greeted by cold drinks. next we headed to our room and shortly after got lost trying to get to the breakfast buffet. After finding it and eating we headed down to the beach to relax in the cool water for a little. Dad and Bee went of to do archery and the rest of us stayed at the beach. A little later it started raining. Mom instantly sought shelter at the nearest  bar. We sat there for a while waiting for the storm to clear. After a little, we headed up to the pool and swam for a while. Then they opened up a mini lunch buffet right beside the pool.  After eating we split up, Bee, Sophie, and Dom going to the kids club, Mom and Sarah hanging on the beach, and me, Dad, and Charlie going snorkeling where we saw  some fantastic colorful fish and beautiful coral. after that we competed in the sandcastle competition and don’t know who won (probably not us). after that we went to dinner and me and Mom went back to the beach, the rest of them played badminton.  next we headed to the dinner buffet (they really like their buffets there- Bee really liked the desert buffet). after that we saw a really cool light show as part of their glow-fest party (Mom and Sophie even had matching dresses for the occasion)  and went to bed.

August 26th

the next day we went to get the breakfast buffet again, then all the kids went off to the kids club, me playing golf while ben, sophie and dom flew through the air on the trapeze, then switching, ben, sophie, and dom going to archery, and me swinging on the trapeze.  The rest of the day included more archery (bee collecting 3 gold medals), Mom, Dad and Jay trying desperately to stay up on a wakeboard, some more good food and a great sunset boat ride back to Singapore!
