On our way!

After weeks of planning, cleaning and packing, April 4th has arrived! Today is the day we leave for our Singapore adventure.

For the last few days, we have been busy saying “see you soon” to friends, family and classmates. Now it is finally time to leave! This blog will serve as our way to stay in regular touch with friends and family. Most post will be written by the boys, but mom and dad may have a few words of wisdom as well. at the end of each blog we will put some recent pictures that go with the post.

Jay’s thoughts:

Hello, this is the first post on our blog and we are in the San Francisco airport. At least we were when we typed this. We just got off the flight from Philly and that was only 6 hours. (Sigh) 17 MORE HOURS! HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WHO THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA?!?! (GROAN)

It is an hour until we take off for Singapore and we are just walking around the airport. I am really tired! On the plane from Philly, we had dinner, played on the screens in front of us and watched movies. Bee watched Star Wars the Force Awakens, and I watched a really funny movie about a crazy dog show called “Best in Show”. (By the way: Mom said I should call myself “Jay” and my brother “Bee” in these blogs, so I will).

We moved out of our house so our cousins could move in! The movers took all our stuff (including our beds) on Tuesday, so last night we stayed at the Logan, a cool hotel in Philly. We had a fun dinner with Grandpop and Grandma at our favorite place in Philly, Gran Caffe D’Aquila. Grandpop tried to show us a magic trick but couldn’t get it to work. No surprise, he isn’t very good at magic! I had double gelato (Valentino and Peach Mango). When we woke up, we took a last lap around the city playing PokémonGo. We also got takeout from Dim Sum Garden and tried to eat it in a car (and succeeded in making a mess!). When we arrived at Newark airport, the airport guys were clearly in a bad mood and were yelling at everyone. But we quickly checked our bags in at the curbside and ran through security (thanks, TSA PreCheck!). We went to the United Lounge and stayed there for a while. Me and Bee took a walk around the lounge and found this candy thing called “My Mix” where you could mix Skittles and Swedish Fish and take them away in little baggies. We filled the baggies to the limit and it was really good!

We will write again when we get to Singapore.
