A long tour ago…

Today was a pretty cool day! After packing up from the hotel we headed out to margret river where we took a d a really cool tour. First we met our tour guide and he took us to the river. Then we hopped into our canoe and paddled a little bit down the river. He told us all about the eucalyptus tree and how strong it is, he said that in water it won’t start decaying for 50 years. Then we turned around and it immediately started pouring onto our heads. After getting back to our car we took a short drive to a cool little cafe with a really cool view of the ocean. Then he took us to go see the volunteer fire brigade headquarters. After that we went to a really cool waterfall where there was a peppermint tree and we did a honey tasting. After that we went to lunch. We had lunch inside a wine distillery and we actually sat right next to the barrels of wine. Also they gave us a tour around the distillery. We had a good lunch of bread with all kinds of dip and some meats and cheeses. Mom and dad also did a wine tasting and bought 3 bottles of wine. We learned all about how they make the wine and how they age it. Lastly we went to a very cool scenic trail and walked along until we hit an amazing place to sit. Then we headed back to the car and drove back and it started hailing (which might not sound that crazy to our readers in America but it barley ever Hails in Australia)!

Windswept and wild…the landscape, not you guys! (But close!) What the Hail did you do? Not only did you change scenery, but you also changed the weather pattern. You crazy kids! No matter, you seemed to have found shelter in all the right places! Cheers to another adventure story.
