Today we went to a soccer tournament (Bee’s comment: uggggg!)(Bee’s team did not win any games) and had a very good time, despite the fact that my cleats were way too tight and had to be switched with my sneakers. I even shouldered(?) in a goal (off a corner kick)! It was quite an adventure, especially as most of the kids only spoke japanese.  All went well and nothing particularly strange happened… “Well then why is it in the weekly wait what?” you ask. Well notice the dots at the end of my sentence. What I was trying to say before you interupted was “All went well and nothing particularly strange happened until the end.” At the end they were inviting everyone up to get the participation awards….. a bottle of hand soap.
