Today we went on a duck boat tour. It went through land and water. We saw: Gardens by the Bay, the floating stadium, the Formula 1 start line, pit building and track. We also saw the Marina Bay Sands hotel, Civilian war monument and the Merlion. We also saw the Swissotel designed by I.M.Pey, Singapore’s tallest hotel (and used to be the worlds tallest) hotel- reaching 741 ft. and having  73 floors. Piotr Lobodzinski climbed the stairs in 6 minutes 55 seconds in a vertical marathon. We also saw the Singapore Flyer-the largest Ferris Wheel in Asia- it takes 30 minutes to go around one time . Other cool buildings include the Science and Art Museum- which looks like a blooming onion and the Esplanade – Theatres by the Bay- which is built to look like a Durian fruit (Durian is a really stinky – bad smelling- fruit that we haven’t tried yet- actually Mom tried it in China but was not a fan). Afterwards we got Godiva milkshakes for a going away treat for Mom. Mom had a week long upcoming marathon trip to Shanghai, Beijing and Tokyo.

Are you thinking about that Ferris wheel ride? Looks like it would be worth it for the views! What amazing architecture you show in your pictures! The Duck boats are pretty fun. Any chance that a rubber duckie will visit your harbors? Of course the Godiva milkshake would be my favorite part of the day…but I would not do a vertical marathon to earn it! You guys want to train for that?! Only half of it is uphill!
Nice pics!
